Hello Amrit, If you are interested in lectureship or research, or want to apply for higher studies, then apply for UGC NET exam. UGC NET exam is held for various 84 subjects in commerce, arts music, language and many more. UGC NET exam is held twice a year in June and December. After qualifying the exam, you can apply for assistant professor post or JRF. The post graduate candidates can apply for the exam. In India, you can do only M.Tech Civil Engineering and you need to study two years. Abroad you can do Masters as one year programme in UK. You can do specialised programme which you like. Options are
1. M.Sc. Structural Engineering
2. M.Sc. Geo technical Engineering
3. M.Sc. Construction Management
4. M.Sc. Urban designing
5. M.Sc. Transport designing Becasue of the specializations duration is less and you become more employable.
