Hi throng, As you have completed the master degree and also qualified the UGC NET exam, you are eligible to apply for Ph.D. from respective university. The minimum qualification required for Ph.D. is, aster's degree and NET certification. You can apply for Ph.D. in you post graduation subject or for the subjects related to it. Hello Sachin, as per my experience of government job exams, there are different government exams but only very few are exclusively for Economics. If you are interested then you can go for School Service Commission or College Service Commission Exams those are held for different subjects. Other than that there are very few exams of Agricultural sector amd Economic Affair Department that may require an Economics graduate. You can also try for UPSC, SSC, IBPS to increase your chances of getting a good job. All the best. You can further search all the government websites and see if there are any vacancies as of now.
