You can apply for UGC NET, if you have scored more than 55% marks in the final exams. There are 5% reservation for the reserved category candidates. The candidates need to fulfill the age limit criteria if applying for the NET JRF. There is no age limit for the lectureship. If you have score the required percentage, then you can apply for the exam. All the best.

Package depends mainly on the organizations visiting a particular college and the profile they are offering. A rough idea about the package you can have from the average package in past years.
