There is no update from the university about the commencement of the session. You will have to check the same with the college by next month.

Hi Ashwini,
If you don't know what you want to study then you should figure out your interest first and decide. This is something you have to decide for yourself do not ask others.

Hi Harsh,
A difficult choice. Germany is a well-known destination for mechanical engineering, it's a hub. But admissions are very difficult so is Canada particularly for MS programs. Germany is cheaper. If you have very good academics plus strong projects and overall strong profile, you can try applying to Germany. I will rather suggest you to 2-3 universities in both countries. Find out about work permit options and overall budget. Compare and finalize likewise.

Hello Varun, please don't keep on repeating your UG, you already did. Time to move on. Do a full time PG Diploma or MS and look for options abroad, because of your previous record, which is not so impressive, please study hard and pass with a good first class. Build your extracurricular too. Have clarity on what you want to do in future, career plans etc. You must prepare a good SOP and get some strong recommendation letters too. Check why your application was rejected earlier. Do some groundwork.

Yes, you can apply directly with the GATE score. It's not mandatory to go with JEE. If you have a good score in GATE then there nothing to worry.
