It is possible for a Plus 2 student who has not studied mathematics to apply for IPMAT. The eligibility criteria for the Integrated Program in Management (IPM) at IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak, which conduct the IPMAT, do not mandate mathematics in the 12th grade. To be eligible, candidates should have scored a minimum of 60% in their 10th and 12th-grade exams or an equivalent qualification, with some variations for specific categories such as SC/ST/PwD.

Maths is all about practice and ACT Math syllabus tests all major topics tested in high school. Thus, there is only one solution, begin preparing for ACT Maths section well before time, as soon as you leave school and look for some good resources to brush up your basics. Once your basics are clear you will not face issues in cracking the ACT Math section questions. Maths for weaker students may be laborious but preparing for it before hand with ample practice can prove beneficial. One should begin Maths section preparation atleast three months prior to ACT exam date.

Students who hold a strong hand in math and Science might find ACT math easier than SAT. Math in the ACT includes charts, graphs, and formulas and it's straightforward. Plus, maths section includes algebra, geometry, functions, etc. All major topics are tested as part of the ACT Math section syllabus. However, SAT Math syllabus is though similar but the questions are more analytical in nature in comparison to ACT math syllabus.
