Yes, candidates with 70% in Class 12 can apply for BDS course at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences provided they have also studied the specified subjects. Candidates need to pass Class 12 examination with at least 50% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology to apply for BDS programme. Candidates who have passed BSc with any two subjects PCB (Botany/ Zoology) with at least 50% aggregate and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English at Class 12 level can also apply.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery or NEET MDS is an entrance exam conducted by NBE for providing admissions to all the postgraduate dental courses offered by the institutions in India. The exam is conducted once a year in offline or paper-pencil-based test (PBT) mode for three hours and 20 minutes or 200 minutes. BDS is a prominent course of Maulana Institute of Dental Sciences. MAIDS Delhi offers a four-year BDS or Bachelor of Dental Surgery programme followed by a one-year compulsory rotating internship training.
