Recreation, extra‑curricular & sports facilities: GIBS offers a variety of recreational and sports amenities — including indoor and outdoor games, a sports arena (outdoor courts / grounds), gyms, yoga/dance rooms/studios, and a multipurpose club‑house / recreation area. 

Health & medical support: The campus provides basic medical assistance — a doctor on call and first‑aid facilities.

Transport & accessibility: There is transport / commute support for students for easier access to campus or nearby PG/hostels (especially useful for those not staying on campus).

The GIBS process for campus recruitment is well organized and supportive. They provide the students with pre-placement training that helps improve their communication, aptitude, and interview skills. After the training sessions, companies are invited to campus for recruitment and present their company profile and the jobs they are recruiting for. Following this, students are taken through multiple rounds of interviewing, which include the aptitude test, group discussion, personal interview, and possibly others, depending on the company's recruitment process. The placement cell coordinates all steps of the hiring process, thus facilitating smooth lines of communication between students and employers. During the entire season, students receive support from their professors and mentors to help them build their confidence and find the supply-demand match between their skills and career aspirations.

GIBS provides a myriad of support services with the view to assist students through academic, personal, and professional guidance throughout their journey. An intensive two-year postgraduate programme such as an MBA or PGDM offers advanced coursework and hands-on training in diverse business management subjects, along with more specialised instruction such as finance, marketing, analytics, operations management, HR management, and international business.

Graduates with a BBA can start careers in business management, yet finding high-paying employment may prove challenging. Corporate environments place immense value on practical experience as well as extensive knowledge. Therefore, students enrolled in postgraduate management programs such as an MBA or PGDM to acquire these vital skills for entry into corporate environments.

One advantage of an MBA or PGDM degree is not being required to possess an undergraduate degree in Business Administration such as BBA. Even if your previous degrees include Bachelors of Commerce, Science, Arts, or any other discipline – an MBA/PGDM could still provide valuable education.
