University of Lucknow bases its MBA selection criteria heavily on competitive entrance test performance. You can qualify by presenting a valid scorecard from national exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, or CMAT. If you have not taken these tests, you must appear for the university's official LUMET exam.

The student enrollment at GIBS Business School is really based on the programme and the type of student being enrolled, but as an average number you can expect:

  • PGDM: Between 240–300 a year (most commonly reported numbers are either 240 or 300)
  • BBA: Approximately 180

When you add these together, the average number of students admitted to both programs every year is:

  • PGDM: 250–300
  • BBA: 180

The size of these admissions allows GIBS to have a good level of involvement in the classroom, as well as allowing the students access to an adequate amount of exposure to business through industry visits, club activities, internships and placemen
