MBA Eligibility

XIME has set an eligibility criterion for admission to its MBA programme. Students who meet the following requirements are eligible to apply. Check below to know the eligibility details:

• A minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation in any stream from  a recognised university
• Candidates must appear for the national-level management exams, such as CAT/XAT/CMAT

MBA programme is ranked #138 by Shiksha Popularity Ranking, #122 by US News and #251 by QS Rankings. Rankings by other ranking bodies are as follows:

Aspirants must possess a bachelor's degree in any field with at least 50% aggregate from a recognised university to apply for MBA at Rathinam School of Business. Those belonging to the reserved categories must secure at least 45% aggregate. Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply provided they submit the proof of graduation within the stipulated time after admission.

Rathinam School of Business shortlists candidates for admission to MBA programme based on their scores in Karnataka PGCET or CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT. Selected candidates are further called for group discussion and personal interview round. Once selected, aspirants are required to report at the campus for document verification and fee payment.

The eligibility criteria for Adichunchanagiri University MBA programme is as follows:

• Students must have passed with a Bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognised university
• A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is mandatory for candidates belonging to the General category.
• A minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is mandatory for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC category.

The MBA course at Aditya Institute of Management Studies and Research demands a graduation degree in any subject from a recognised university with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Reserved category candidates have a relaxation according to norms. Students having their final year results pending can also take admission to the MBA course. The eligibility ensures that students must have a proper academic background before studying management.

No, HEC says that a student need not have an undergraduate degree to apply for MBA. Instead he must meet the following requirements to be eligible:

• Student must submit a certificate of high school completion. 

• He must have professional experience of minimum 5 years, 3 years of those must be in a managerial position

The eligibility criteria set by AITAM for its MBA programme follows that candidates must have passed UG with 50% of aggregate marks from a recognised university.
