The MBA eligibility at GIBS Business School is simple. You need:

  • A graduate degree (any stream) from a recognised university
  • Minimum 50% marks (45% for some categories)
  • Final year students can also apply

You don't need only CAT — they accept other scores like MAT, CMAT, XAT, KMAT or even direct interview. The main thing is that you have a valid bachelor's degree and you perform well in the selection process.

No, work experience is not strictly compulsory for every MBA pathway at Indian School of Business, but it is required for its flagship programme.

For the main Post Graduate Programme (PGP), which is equivalent to an MBA, ISB typically expects 2 or more years of full-time work experience at the time of joining. However, for early-career candidates or fresh graduates, ISB offers the PGP YL (Young Leaders Programme), where you can apply without prior work experience and join after gaining some experience later.

So, while ISB does value work experience strongly for its core MBA programme, there are structured entry routes for candidates who

At GIBS, faculty aren't just there to lecture — they act like mentors. Students often feel they can walk into a professor's office anytime to discuss ideas, career doubts, or even personal growth. The faculty mix experience from the corporate world with teaching, so their advice is practical and usable. They push you to think critically, try new approaches in projects, and prepare for real-world business challenges, rather than just spoon-feeding theory.

For GIBS Business School, Bangalore, the minimum eligibility is pretty straightforward and student-friendly.

For MBA/PGDM:

  • You need a graduation degree from a recognised university.
  • Most students apply after completing their bachelor's in any stream.
