This is an average college for MBA, infrastructure is good, but faculties are not up to the mark. Placement packages are also not good. According to me, you should try for a better institute.

Yes why not. There are some seats under convenor quota in every college. You should get a good rank to get a seat in the university campuses like Bangalore university, Belgaum University and Mangalore University etc. All the best.
