The Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate of Distance Education like many Universities have got mixed reviews fron the students studying there. Although the institute is ranked 94th among universities in India. It a accredited with 'A' rating in NAAC. The students have enjoyed a low fee structure and wider resources for study through website and on-campus facilities. Some students have pointed out the unsatisfactory semester exam procedure.

The Madurai Kamaraj University, Directorate of Distance Education and Annamalai university are both regarded quite good among the students.

The MKUDDE, Madurai is accredited 'A' category while the Annamalai university is accredited with 'A+'.

In NIRF, MKUDDE is ranked 94th among universities whereas Annamalai is not mentioned in the rankings. 

It is better for the students to compare the colleges based on their preferred areas of interest and compare them before joining any institution.

Annamalai University is better for distance education. The user also says that there is no semester system and exams are only held once a year.
MKUDDE Madurai is a well-established university with a strong reputation for its distance education programs.
