Its good that you have clarity on what you want to pursue post Engineering. Since, you are into your second year, you still have time to prepare for MBA open test. Usually, student start preparing for MBA open test in the beginning of their final year as entrance exams for MBA happen in November / December. 2 to 3 hours of systematic study for about 3 to 4 months is enough to do well in open admission test.

Yes, you can do MBA in financial management. However you should be good in maths, analytical aptitude and have a keen interests in finance. Its always better to pursue MBA in a subject which is aligned to ones interest & career aspirations.

CAT is the main exam to go to any MBA college. Afyer that you have to clear the cut off so that you can get admit into great IIMs . Everything depends on your interest. Best of luck.
