I assume you mean to say that you got 58.8 percentile in MAT. In order to get into XLRI, you need to give XAT. Upon receiving the call from XLRI, you will have to clear the GD and PI rounds. The cumulative scores of XAT and GD-PI will be taken into account for the admission in XLRI.

Yes, for MBA, graduation is the main eligibility criteria which you have. There is no any much important role of 12th standard.

You will need to wait for your NT rank and the seat distribution matrix. This is because the cutoffs in a reserved category changes every year depending on the number of students applying in that category. Keep checking the DTE website for updates.

1st option:
It is good for you to join MBA through distance because, with distance education, you will be able to do a job as well as MBA. (Prefer this only if you are economically weak).
2nd option:
Start preparing for CAT exam, do your best in CAT and get admitted in the top MBA college in India based on the CAT score.
(Prefer this if your economical background is strong).
Course Expenditure
For the 1st option:
An average of approximately 1 lakh (low possibility for getting education loan).
For the 2nd option:
An average of approximately 2-5 Lacs (maybe less if not in top MBA college) (high possibility of getting education loan).
