Absolutely yes, you need to show a bonafide proof signed by a gazetted officer/ government authority to validate your obc quota. It is considered very strictly.

If you were so sure about an MBA, why opt for B.Tech in the first place? Now that you gave taken this decision, it better to focus on B.Tech for the time being. The graduate percentage is an important criteria and is considered by all top schools for final selection. Even at a B-School you would be judged on your percentage in 10, 12 and graduation. So, don't take it lightly. You can start MBA prep at any time, no need to hurry A focused one year prep for CAT is sufficient to get into top colleges.

Dear aspirant,
With a CAT percentile of 80, you can strive for tier 2 colleges. Some of the better ones are: 1. TAPMI- Good for marketing and HR 2. IMT Nagpur- Good for marketing 3. Icfai Business School- Good for finance 4. Christ University, Bangalore 5. LIBA, Chennai- Good for IT profiles 6. IISWBM, Kolkata 7. IMI, Kolkata- Good for marketing These are decent colleges and ensure placements in decent organisations provided you are in the top 25% of the batch. Take a call depending on the specialisation you want to opt for.

Good morning dear, There are different entrance exams that are conducted for an MBA programme. Each and every college have their eligibility criteria. Like Symbiosis accepts only CAT and SNAP. IIMs do accept only CAT. There are certain Universities that accept CAT/ CMAT. Other exams include MAT XAT ICET NMAT etc. Depends on the institute which college is accepted to their requirements. Thanks and all the best.
