Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two years diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and which are autonomous and not affiliated to any university. It is not mandatory that a PGDM is equal to MBA. PGDM institutes accreditation by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) makes an institute's PGDM course equivalent to an MBA. Hello Muskan,
First of all please don't panic. Before taking any decision first try to know what actually is your interest area. No doubt a CA gets better package than MBA but CA is tough too. I would not ask you to leave CA at once.

You are advised to read at least two leading newspapers daily to prepare for SNAP. Keep record leading events in your note book. In addition you can refer to any standard Current Affairs book available in market.

Hello Pradeep! There is no specific UG degree required to pursue MBA, thus you can do after your B Com. However, see to it that the degree is a recognized one and you've scored at least 50% marks overall as it is the basic criteria of the various entrance exams like CAT, CMAT, NMAT, etc.

Hello Udit! It depends. If you have got a good job, I would suggest to continue with it for around 1.5-2 years and then pursue MBA(since work-experience is always given importance and is beneficial too). However, if you have got or can get admission in a good college, then completing your MBA first is advised. But always ensure to do MBA only from a good and reputed college as it will lead to better learning experience and placements. Good luck!

Hello Prem! If you're sure of making a career in the Marketing field, then PGDM(Marketing) is an ideal choice for you. However, if you aren't sure about your specialization, then I'd suggest to pursue the regular PGDM course; you would get a year's time to decide your choice of specialization.
