Hello! Yes you can prepare for these exams without attending a coaching class. There are several good books available in the market, pick one and start solving the questions. After this, you can join an online mock series for practicing last years' based papers for more practice. Good luck!

There is only one category for Human Resources in UGC Net exam. You can choose Labour and Personal Management. The paper will be same for this category. Most of the questions come from Labour Laws and Managememt.

Yes, you can pursue MBA but for that you have to give certain entrances like CAT {For IIMs and other A grade colleges} and MAT for B-Grade schools.

Master in Business Administration (MBA) is two years degree course in the field of management. In India MBA degree can be awarded by any recognised university or by a Business School affiliated to any university. MMS and MBA are similar degrees with nomenclature difference. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two years diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and which are autonomous and not affiliated to any university. There are no posts in Government sector particularly in state and central government where eligibility requirement is MBA Construction Management. You can apply for job in PSUs such as IRCON, RITES etc.

Hello Diksha! A national level entrance exam is anytime more important than a state-level one due to the variety of colleges coming under it. And for MBA, CAT is the most popular exam as it is conducted by the IIMs and its exam scores are accepted by almost all the top ranked B-schools.
