In my point of view, JSS is a good college in terms of education and placement. You can also see other colleges in Noida if you are interested like Amity University.

Basu, certain average colleges offer you admission without CAT but then they don't talk of placements.
The best like IIMs, etc take admission with CAT only.
Certain private ones like LPU, AMU, BMLMU, etc offer admissions with CAT/XAT/MAT or their own tests. They even have good placements.
Check with institutes for more information.
Good luck.

Yes. To be eligible for admission into any reputed B-school in India, you must appear for any among the various entrance exams like CAT, XAT, etc and clear the required cutoffs. Further you also need to perform well in the interview rounds(if shortlisted) to finally get admitted into any B-school. Good luck!

You cannot get a good college with that low CMAT score in Mumbai/Gujarat, as the cutoff of all decent colleges is 95+ percentile. And the colleges you might will be either average or below average. Better reappear for CMAT(or any other exam) and score well rather than taking admission into an average college. Good luck!

Yes, it is true. Most of the top entrance exams need a candidate to score minimum 50% aggregate marks during graduation to appear for them. However, there are some exams like XAT and MAT which do not consider your graduation scores at all i.e. you just need to be a graduate. Better you apply and prepare for them. Good luck!
