Hi,
If you want to do MBA, then ideally it has to be BBA in your graduation to form basics, but in case you do any graduation in any stream, still you can pursue MBA.
Good Luck.

Yes, you are eligible. Some of the reputed institutes are IHM Delhi, IHM Mumbai and Manipal. Manipal offers 2 years M.Sc in hotel management.
Eligibility : The candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university. For candidates who have completed any degree other than Hotel Management are needed to enroll for a bridge program for three months concurrent to the commencement of the Master's Program.

The primary distinction between an MBA and an M.S.is breadth versus depth. An MBA degree offers a broader view of business management. So when it comes to deciding between a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree, you want to be sure you're making the right choice.
All the best.

Hi Sagar,
For Institute level seats, please call up the college once the CAP rounds start to know about the current year's process. Last year (2016), applications were taken telephonically once the MAH-CET results were declared and candidates were notified by the college of their interview details and procedures. However, to be on the safer side, you should keep checking with the college.
On the basis of last year's cut-off, you have a decent chance. You should apply anyway.
I hope this helps.

Hi Shradha,
We do have a student enrolled with MAT score (99+) in All India category. For more details on last year's CET cut offs kindly refer to the admission merit list on the XIMR website.
If you have given your MAH-CET 2017 exam under the All India category then you are eligible to apply to XIMR with those scores which will be taken into consideration at the time of admission

Last year (2016), applications were taken telephonically once the MH-CET results were declared and candidates were notified by the college of their interview details and procedures. However, to be on the safer side you should keep checking with the college then. For minority seats, you'll have to fill in your DTE form with the required minority details and submit the required documents. Once you are registered under the minority category there, the CAP rounds will take care of the procedure forward and the institute will fill their minority and CAP quota accordingly. However in case of insufficient applications, the college may also ta

Hello Shailshree,
Apologies for the late reply. MCA is a good option if you're really interested in the technical and coding field. MBA in HR is apt if you want to make a career in the management field. So it depends on where your interest lies and career goals. Salary prospects wise, MBA is better than MCA but only if done from a reputed B-School.

1. Target a particular B-School, you want to get admission into.
2. Understand its eligibility criteria and various exam cut-offs, whose scores it accepts (for eg: all IIMs consider scores of only CAT exam and have cut-offs ranging from 93-99.7 percentile. You must also have at least 50% marks in graduation to be eligible for giving the exam).
3. Understand the difficulty level of that exam, its syllabus, schedule, etc.
4. Start preparing sincerely for it, join a coaching class if required.
5. Take the exam and score well.
6. If all the necessary cut-offs and eligibility criteria are cleared, you will be shortlisted for the B-School's inte

Placements: Placements of our batch were pretty good. 70-80% are already placed and still, companies are coming for campus placements. Marketing has the highest placement percentage this time. Almost 95% students are placed. Telecom, FMCG, electronics, hospitals, banks, financing etc are few sectors from where companies visited for campus placement. Roles offered by them are management trainee, assistant managers, relationship managers etc.
