Hi.
This question can only be answered by you yourself. It depends upon which subject you are weak at. All the sections of the MBA exam are important no matter for which institute. If you are good at quant and confident then leave it and apply for verbal or LIDR. So make an informed decision. Good Luck

PGDM is one of the prestigious courses of G L Bajaj. You have a separate department for it. Many upgrading activities are held there.

Hi Shashank,
You may consider G L Bajaj for engineering in terms of fetching placements but its average for MBA/PGDM placements. You may look for something better in ranking than this to pursue MBA/PGDM.
All the best.

Here is what I researched about Jain University's MBA programme:
Pros:
1) Good placements as many companies come for campus placements.
2) Posh classrooms.
3) JGI ventures and their programs.
4) Mixed bag of crowd majorly rich and upper middle-class.
5) The brand name "Jain University" has decent reputation in corporate circles.
6) Good number of canteens and clean washrooms!
Cons:
1) "Costliest fees". Only Money minded. Everything is super costly here!
2) Leaving a very few, Majority of the staff are bad, Very young as they have just graduated, lack passion, Severe lack of knowledge and no real compassion to teach at all!
3) The management is re

Obviously u need to do M.Tech not MBA. As, through MBA, you will lead in managerial line which does not suit you. But, you also have to complete your Ph.D in respective field to be a complete 'research scientist'. So, my answer is a big 'No' to MBA, although you have to go for M.Tech.
Best of Luck.
