Harvard being one of the best business schools in the world enormous hard work will be required to get admitted. Academically, you must be a brilliant student and if not, there must be something in your profile which can distinguish you from other students. Besides academics, you must be involved in extra-curricular too. Overall, a strong and all-rounder profile is required. Most importantly you must have work experience before applying so after you complete your Bachelors get a job, take your GMAT and TOEFL. Career planning is also important. Almost every business school in USA requires applicants to have atleast 2 years work experience. So, the first thing after you complete your B.Tech is to get a job and do well in your work place, demonstrate leadership and good managerial skills. Academically, you must do well too but if you are an average student, don't worry much as universities in US evaluate on an overall basis and not just on one factor. You must also take the GMAT or GRE and TOEFL or IELTS.
