Hello,
A gap taken for MBA exams preparations is quite common nowadays, so it's not really an issue. However, one should make the most of this gap time by utilizing it for other activities like certification courses, internships, social work, etc. These activities will ensure you edge over the other freshers (in terms of the resume) and also highlight your interest in past academics and/or future MBA stream. A gap taken solely for the exam preparations might create a negative impact on the interviewers, as these exams generally require 3-4 hours daily.

Amity University provides one of the best MBA in Delhi-NCR because the infrastructure and the faculty are really good. The placement record of Amity Noida is really good because there are big companies also which visit the campus for final placement.

Hi Rajat,
In terms of placements, I'd like to recommend you to go for Symbiosis School of Banking & Finance (SSBF), Pune. As they provide salary package starting from 7.90 LPA.

I will give the review about (through my personal experience) ABS as I am in the 3rd semester and my specialisation is HR. I have got so many opportunities for my placement and few of my friends got placed in good firms with a high package.
So, I will suggest that you join ABS.

Placements in IBS for operations are okay like there are not many companies which come to the campus with operations profile but there are few which come in.

MIM is a great course but a lot of countries are realizing the value of MIM in recent times so it has a demand but not huge. It's a way to shift to management side, so even if you finish your MIM with good scores at the end, it isn't sure that you will get a job in India. You may be considered as a tier-2 business student, not an exception so, your work experience matters. And if you don't have any then pursue a dare of pursuing MIM, it has a great value in Europe (consider France). 100% placement does not make any sense if you have a degree with unstable job profile of 'bulk hire & fire and 100% placement show off the by college; check exact situation of the alumni on Linkedin /quira profile after 3/4months of placement, and try to avoid current students views, as they are also a part of the system, be clever before investing your parent's money.
