Another way of admission is internal tests or admission criteria of individual Management Institutes or Universities.
Your 10th and 12th percentage doesn't matter much if you do your MBA from a good reputed campus.

As for the package it depends on the company that is recruiting you and your performance in the interview. But then most universities these days provide placement assistance too to their students.

No Working with NGO wouldn't be considered as work experience when you will go for admission in business schools, though the gap of 2years won't affect your chances of admission.
Business schools ask for justification if gap is of 3 years or more,
