For an MBA in HR, the best colleges in the country are XLRI - Jamshedpur and SIBM - Pune. TISS - Mumbai offers an MA program in human resources and labour relations. To get into these colleges, you need to appear for the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) that takes place in January and preferably score a 90 percentile to get a call from XLRI.

In Goa, there is only one top institute which is Goa Institute of Management. In Karnataka, you can opt for IIMB, TAPMI, Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, XIME, SDM Institute for Management Development - Mysore, AIMS Institutes - Bangalore and Christ University.

SSN Chennai is great college for internship opportunities and the kind of companies come for final placement are very good. TSM Madurai offers more or less similar placements.

Yes, you can get the best college and for this you have to clear CAT or MAT exam with good percentile in CAT, at least you should secure above 90 percentile.
