Indian telecommunication industry is matured and has total of employment potentials because of its growth and changing technologies. MBA (Telecom) course is designed to provide mix of management and telecom technology knowledge and skills to have career in telecommunication industry.
The course is designed and well suited for electronics engineers. It is niche sector specific specialization of MBA, therefore job opportunities are lesser in comparison to marketing, HR, finance, etc. Experienced telecom professionals have potential for job abroad.

Hello Deepak,
The market is currently overflowed with inexperienced graduates having a Masters degree. As you have already mentioned that you're an average student, my sincere advice to you would be to gain atleast 2+ years of experience before opting for higher degree.
After 2+ years of experience, you can opt for MBA in correspondence level or full- time course as per your choice.

If you have less than 50% marks in graduation, the chances to get admission in MBA are very less in good B-schools. If you get admission, you will definitely face challenges in campus placement as you may get filtered out in pre selection process, even before GD/PI round.
