There may be a slight difference in syllabus. But, more importantly from which institute are you doing it matters the most. Remember, IIM's offer PGDM, Symbiosis offers MBA, JBIMS offers MMS.
But tier 2, tier 3 colleges also offer PGDM, MBA and MMS. So, in short, concentrate on the institute rather than on the program. Good luck!

You should opt for marketing. It has better scope than finance.

Hi,
In terms of salary, MBA will help you more than MS, but again if you go with your interest and dedication, it will definitely lead you up with more added income. In terms of your fees invested, MS is much cheaper than MBA and also b-schools have their own fee structure.
Good luck.

Media and entertainment is not an MBA subject. This belongs to mass communication and journalism. MBA may have, at the most, a second year specialization course on media/film management, that too only in selected IIMs.
