To be eligible for admission to the MBBS course at R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for either the West Bengal NEET or the NEET exam and score valid marks to be eligible for the course.

To undertake MBBS at M S Ramaiah Medical College, a prospective candidate should pass a 10+2 examination in Physics Chemistry, Biology, and English with 50 percent marks (40 percent marks for SC/ST/ OBC categories). Besides that, the candidates have to qualify the NEET-UG exam administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The admissions are also opened on NEET merit based centralized counseling in several quotas such as state, management and NRI quota.

M.S. Ramaiah Medical College is a top-tier medical school in Bangalore. Admission to MBBS requires passing NEET-UG, scoring at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (40% for reserved categories), and being at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year. Seats (including NRI/management) are allotted through KEA counselling based on rank and eligibility.

Eligibility criterion to get admitted to the MBBS programme in DSMCH, a valid score in NEET- UG along with qualifying cut-off of the National Testing Agency during state or All-India counselling is required. Students have to pass 10+2 with PCB, and have to gain at least 60 percent in PCB (reduced to 55 percent in MBC, 40 percent in SC/ST). The government and management quotas will receive the seats through NEET-based merit lists.

All Indian students must meet admission requirements listed below to pursue MBBS in Australia:

- A minimum overall percentage of around 60% - 95%;
- Must pass the University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) or the Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admission Test (UMAT); and
