M S Ramaiah Medical College

A. It is an autonomous private institute. It is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.

A. Selection is based on the rank obtained in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) conducted on an all-India basis by the National Board Examination. Post conducting of NEET and the subsequent declaration of cut-off marks, the students may apply online. All the seats, including NRI/Management quota, are allotted merit-based through a process of online counselling conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority. Generally, the application for admission starts in April.

A. For Foreign Nationals, Non-Resident Indians and People of Indian Origin to apply to the MBBS degree at the MS Ramaiah Medical College, they must fulfil the following criteria:

• The candidates must have completed 17 years of age as of the31st December of the year of admission
• Candidate must have passed 12th standard (or equivalent) and must have obtained 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (aggregate). Passing in English as one of the subjects is mandatory.
• Every year, at least 15% of the total admissions each year (23 seats) are reserved for the international students. They must have documents to verify their NRI/FOREIGN
• Inward remittance certificate from the Reserve Bank of India is compulsory.

A. MS Ramaiah Medical College offers Bachelors (BPT – 4.5 years), Masters (BPT – 4.5 years) and PhD in physiotherapy. Minimum 50% in their 12th board exams with Physics, Maths, Biology and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.

A. Medical colleges generally don’t offer placements – students are to apply for jobs at the government/ private hospitals of their choice. However, students may apply at MS Ramaiah Medical Hospital if they wish to.

A. There are hostel facilities for both boys and girls within the campus.

A. Medical colleges don’t offer internships either in private or government hospitals. Students must apply on their own volition to the Medical hospitals of their own choice for paid/unpaid internships. However, MS Ramaiah Medical College offers internship at its medical hospital.

A. The KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) is responsible to release the cut-off for Karnataka MBBS/ BDS Admission 2020.

A. For private seats the score was 477 and till rank 63938 while for Government seats the score was 457 while the rank was till 77908.

A. Candidates can apply online through the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). All the seats are allotted by merit through online counselling conducted by the KEA.
