Aspirants who have passed MBBS or BSc Biomedical Science/ Clinical Research/ BPharm/ BDS/ BPT/ BSc Nursing/ BAMS/ BUMS/ BPharm (Ayurveda) with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PwD candidates) can apply for MSc programme at Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research. Yes, Indian students can practice in India after completing MBBS from Altai State Medical University but they are required to follow the guidelines set by NMC (National Medical Commission). The guidelines are as follows:

  • Students must clear FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) which is conducted by NMC. The exam ensures that students are capable of practicing in India.  

  • Duration of an undergraduate programme must be atleast 54 months and one year internship.

Yes, a degree from the Northern State Medical University is deemed valid in India. The NSMU Russia MBBS is recognised by the National Medical Commission of India, also known as the Medical Council of India, earlier. 

This means that Indian students to have pursued their higher studies from the institute are free to practice in India, upon successful graduation, provided they clear the FMGE exam upon their return.

MBBS at ASMU is available under General Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy. Duration of MBBS under General Medicine is 6 years and is primarily taught in English, whereas duration for programs under Dentistry and Pharmacy is 5 years and is available in both English as well as bilingual. Therefore, students are advised to develop basic language skills so as to easily understand the instructions.

The number of seats for the MBBS is dependent upon the number of affiliate colleges under Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Sciences that offer MBBS as a programme and their respective intake capacity. Candidates who appear for the MBBS Entrance Exam for admission into the SSUHS Assam MBBS programme will have to specify their preferred locations/institutions during the counselling process, and depending on their score and preferences, will seat allocation will be determined for the candidate.

Aligarh Muslim University offers a total of 150 seats for its MBBS programme. These seats are distributed on the basis of NEET UG scores. Moreover, as per the 2025 admission guidelines, 5% of the seats are reserved for admission of persons with disability.
