From an Indian perspective, yes it is!
Now here's the deal. You will get to hear lots of statements from people saying not to go for MBBS Abroad and take another drop year, especially from the Indian medical students.
But you've gotta stick to your decision of doing MBBS from abroad.
If you couldn't score well in NEET and thinking of another drop year. I'd say firstly drop the idea of a drop year and take admission in a foreign medical university ASAP.

I wanted the same after my 12th but my parents forced me to do MBBS. AS I scored well enough in first attempt ( 520/620, rank- 38000 OBC) but I wanted to prepare for UPSC.
Next year I Cleared MBBS I got admission, I'm in Final year. But as I see more 5-6 year's of hardwork as learner, I feel I should have opted for UPSC
Nd now I don't want to prepare for UPSC.
Advice - if you have enough dedication to clear UPSC in 2-3 attempts than go for it, give your all in at any cost.
Nd if not you can become a doctor with next min 10 years of hardwork
Or you can become a MBBS doctor in next 6 years and prepare for UPSC while doing MBBS, this will crea

Candidates need to pass 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with at least 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
- Enroll NEET UG for that year and qualify the same exam which is conducted by the NTA.
Spend a day in KEA counseling for Karnataka state or MCC counseling for All India seats.
Vydehi Institute must be chosen while counseling depending on the rank and seat availability.
Now, upload documents like NEET scorecard, certificates from previous schools attended, and photo IDs.
You should make the tuition fees payments in terms of the college fees structure.&n
