The duration of MBBS course is Mauritius as similar to that in India, as the programs generally consist of a fulltime classroom coursework with practical experiences for almost 4.5 years, followed by a mandatory internship to gain the hands-on hospital training from globally recognised institutions and hospitals. The total duration, hence, generally, is around 5 years for the students to successfully complete the degree.

Providing NEET scores while applying for admission in medical colleges in Mauritius could be considered beneficial. The scores are generally advisable to submit as they open opportunities of work both within and outside of India after the completion of the course. Some universities provide provisional admission without NEET, but NEET qualification is mandatory for practicing medicine in India. Thus, it is highly advisable to clear NEET.
