MBBS coarse started in 2018 with annual intake of 50, from 2020 annual intake increased to 125, so currently annual intake in MBBS coarse is 125.

KJ Somaiya medical college contains 50 seats in each academic year under their MBBS course. Such seats are filled up during the NEET UG counselling that is conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. This is only to individuals who will have qualified and got a valid NEET UG rank. It is important to register early and fill the choices properly to receive an assigned seat.

Admission to the MBBS programme in KJ Somaiya medical college is done by NEET UG and in accordance with the centralized MBBS counselling of the Maharashtra State. Once NEET results have been announced, one has to enroll in the counselling process and fill his or her choice of college. The seats are assigned depending on merit and preferences. People can get admitted finally after verification of documents and fee payment.

In order to seek MBBS in KJ Somaiya Medical College, the applicant should have cleared class 12 including the principal subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English. These subjects will need an aggregate of not less than 50 percent. Also, the admission requires NEET UG qualifying. Only students that satisfy the academic and examination requirements can take part in the admission process.
