There are several medical colleges famous for MBBS, AFMC is one of them. It is the first medical college set up by Armed Forces of any country in Asia. It is accreditated with NAAC with Grade "A+". Whether pursuing an MBBS in India is worth it is subjective but it is a highly secure, prestigious and also a stable career. But it also demans a massive cost in terms of time, mental and even physical energy.

As per the website of National Medical Commission (NMC), around 1,20,000 MBBS or medical seats are available in India. The NMC publishes the List of College Teaching MBBS containing the names of the states, number of MBBS seats available against each state and category of seats- Government or Private.

Yes, Indian students who completed their MBBS degrees from a recognised medical college/university in India can take PLAB exam, just that their college or university must be listed in “World Directory of Medical Schools”.
