NIT Allahabad MCA admission is based on a valid score in the NIMCET exam. Students need to graduate in BSc or BCA with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics or BE/BTech with a minimum 60% aggregate in order to be eligible for admission. For admission in an MCA course, aspirants shall have a valid UG/ BCA degree or BSc/ BSc (Hons)/ BCA/ BIT with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects or BE/BTech or equivalent from a recognised University. Further, the candidate must have passed the qualifying examination with at least 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA. The minimum pass mark required for students belonging to SC/ ST categories is 55% aggregate or 6 CGPA.
