Candidates who have passed BCA/ BSc Computer Science/ BSc IT/ BE CSE/ BTech CSE/ BE IT/ BTech IT or equivalent degree or any graduation preferably with Mathematics at Class 12 level or at graduation level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) can apply for the Poornima University MCA course. Correspondance course or distance course in MCA can be done from IGNOU University. Distance MCA of IGNOU is in the semester mode instead of the yearly mode. Hence, the entire programme structure of MCA is divided into 4 semesters. There are in total 15 theory courses and 6 practical courses with 1 project.

Yes, candidates appearing for final year of qualifying examination are also eligible to appear for MCA at GECA Aurangabad. Candidate must have passed any graduation degree BE/BTech/ BSc/ BCom /BVoc/BCA preferably with mentioned marks (at least 45% in case of candidates of Reserved categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability category belonging to Maharashtra State) and Mathematics at Graduation or Class 12 level.
