Admission to Sharda University is entrance-based. The university selects students who pass graduation with a 50% aggregate with BCA/ BSc in Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Apart from this, a valid score of SUAT entrance exam is mandatory for admission to MCA at Sharda University. The final step of the selection process is to clear the PI round conducted at the university.

AIMS Institutes admission to MCA programme is based on merit in the last qualifying exam. The University has not released placement data for MCA courses. However, combined placement details are out for the PG (2 years) courses. Candidates seeking admission to Anna University MCA course must have passed a Bachelor's degree of a minimum 3 years duration in BCA, BSc (Information Technology /Computer Science), Computer Science and Engineering or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved category). Apart from the minimum eligibility requirement, a valid score in the TANCET entrance exam is also compulsory to be eligible for Anna University MCA admission 2023.

Apart from a valid TANCET score, candidates are also required to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria for Anna University MCA admission.
