Admission to Anna University for MCA program is done through the TANCET exam. Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state level examination, conducted by Anna University for admissions to MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME/ MBA and MCA, in different colleges in Tamil Nadu. The exam is usually conducted in the month of June every year. If you qualify for MCA via the TANCET you will most probably have to join the first year. LAteral entry to second year is not permitted. Basic eligibility for a candidate to apply for MCA in MMU is that the candidate should be a graduate with minimum 50% pass percentage with mandatory course in BCA, B.Sc (computer science).
Other eligibility criteria:
Candidate must have maths/ statistics at graduation or 10+2 level.
