MCA Colleges in India: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria (might differ from college to college) to pursue MCA is as follows:

According to the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the candidates must:

• Hold a degree in BCA/ BSc/ BCom/ BA degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Class 12 or graduation-level.
• Secured minimum aggregate of 50%-60% (a CGPA above 6/10 is considered good) in Bachelors with 55% or above in Class 12.

• MAH MCA CET: Maharashtra MCA Common Entrance Test, commonly known as MAH MCA CET is the entrance exam for admission to MCA courses offered by various government and private colleges in Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year by the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell in online mode as a Computer Based Test. MAH MCA CET exam 2023 was held on March 27. • TANCET: Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test, abbreviated as TANCET, is an admission test conducted to fill PG seats across courses in Tamil Nadu colleges. Anna University conducts the state-level entrance exam for various PG courses, including MTech/ MArch/ MPlan/ ME, MBA and MCA programmes. TANCET 2023 result will be released on April 15.
