MCA is a course where you cannot take a chance to experiment with your career. You have to choose the best to raise yourself. Out of the given two options, I would prefer to go for IMCC -Pune. It's one among the older schools in Pune which conducts MCA program. It's affiliated to prestigious University of Pune. The best part is that it has very lesser competition so you don t need to be much effort full for getting placement. Here, all the classrooms are equipped with LCD projectors for on-line teaching, seminars and presentations. One class room is also equipped with color TV and VCR.
IMCC has developed excellent rapport with Industry by way of guest lectures, seminars, workshops, industrial visits and placements. Various alumni from these colleges are working in a big tech giant companies. So, my opinion says that you can go for IMCC, Pune to continue your career of computer applications.

This program gives detailed information about managing the computer and marketing, financial and operations management. After this course one can become a system analysis, security analysis, DBA and many more.
By joining these two courses one can get also better job opportunities and a secure future in spite of choosing MCA or MBA.

Getting admission in MCA through lateral entry is a very good decision. The great part of lateral entry is that it will save your 1 precious year and it will make you job ready. The good institutes which offer lateral entry in MCA are:
(1) Amity University, Noida – This indeed is a good university for learning computer applications. Its placement index is also high. For lateral entry admission you have to clear through a certain entrance test.
(2) IMS Noida - This is the well-known university for MCA. Various big companies have recruited the students from this college. You can get admission here with just clearing an entrance exam.
(3) Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi - This is a state government recognized college.
According to me, out of the given good colleges, the best college for MCA lateral entry is GGSIPU because it's a government college which has good number of colleges affiliated to this.

Pre-requisites for admission to Karnataka State open university MCA
Admission is open to those candidates who have successfully completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University with Mathematics in 10+2

Admission is open to those candidates who have successfully completed their Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University have completed their 6 moths IT/CS Course from a recognized Institute.

The placements for NIT-MCA are one of the best in the country. Students have bagged offers as high as 60 LPA and the placement percentage usually remains between 90% to 100%. However, this does not mean that you will get an offer in 7 digits salary. Placement packages vary from company to company.
Simply speaking, if you have studied at least what was taught in the class, have cgpa good enough to satisfy the Eligibility criteria of the companies, you have fair chances of getting a good enough job offer.
The MCA course at IIT Roorkee has sadly been discontinued since last year. Last few batches of MCA are going to pass out in the next couple of years. Still I am going to answer the question assuming a hypothetical situation where in the course may get restarted next year.
The placements are a mixed bag. Most companies do not know about the MCA course and hence do not open it. It is up to the placement representative of the MCA batch to educate the Central Placement Team guys about MCA and get as many companies to be opened as possible. You do get to sit for some of the top companies like MS, Amazon, Directi, Inmobi Symantec, Nvidia. I believe even Google opened up this year. So if you have worked hard, you can make something out of it.

B.Sc is a good course in computer science but if any student wants to do MCA after B.Sc in computer science, it is a better option as compared to M.Sc in computer science. This is because in MCA, a student learns more application-based program, learn more about this field. After MCA one can get better job scope in MNCs or any government jobs. The correspondence course is also a better option to do as at the same time, a student can also prepare for various competitive exams and continue their study in Masters. There are many good colleges which offer MCA course through correspondence such as Sikkim Manipal University, Amity University, SRM, VIT, KIIT, LPU and many other. They also have a good placement record. So, joining MCA course after B.Sc is not a bad decision. After completing MCA course, one can get a job with at least a salary package of Rs. 4 Lacs per annum and it increases with the time duration and experience.
