MBA IT is a sector specific MBA, therefore, a number of opportunities are comparatively less in comparison to MBA marketing. MBA IT graduates get jobs in pre-sales support, sales & marketing, account management or BA in IT or ITES industry. You with your MCA and generic MBA or MBA marketing can also get similar jobs, therefore, in order to increase your chances of a good job you may opt for MBA in marketing.

It depends on your interest if you are interested in continuing in the technical field then MCA is a good option. If you have an interest in managing roles and business then go for MBA. Comparing the two, MBA has more diversified job opportunities and have chances of the higher package than MCA offers. During MBA you will get to know about various fields of business and as per your interest, you can stick to the one which suits the best to you. I would say MBA has an edge over MCA but at the end, it is your interest that matters.

The general eligibility criteria to be eligible for applying for BCA course is 10+2 from a recognised board of education or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in total and also having mathematics as a subject in the qualifying examination. Some colleges such as IGNOU allow non-maths students to seek admission in BCA. You will have to chose college or university which allows non-maths students in BCA. You may face similar challenges in MCA also because of your non-maths background.
