I don't think so. In order to join MCA, a candidate need not necessarily be from BCA. In order to join MCA candidate must have maths in +2 as one of the subjects. You may feel some problem with programming language.

BCA + MCA open almost all the doors for most of the IT job profiles and companies. Don't focus on which company you will get through, just focus on the technical knowledge and enhance your practical skills. Bangalore being the IT hub of India, you will never be short of job opportunities.

Your B.Sc. percentage might create hurdle for you in getting a good college but you can definitely get into an average college or you take admission through the management seat.

MCA stands for Master of Computer Application and PGDCA stands for Post Graduation Diploma in Computer Applications. MCA is a 3-year programme and PGDCA normally is a 1 to 1 and a half year programme. I hope I have cleared your doubts. All the best.

Hi Pradeep,
Both are equally rewarding. What matters is in which field you want to make a career in. If you're interested in the management field, then MBA is suitable for you. If you like the coding, technical subjects (hardware, OS, etc.) then MCA is an ideal option. Hope it helps you in making a sound decision. Good luck!
