You are eligible for MCA entrance exams conducted by various universities as you had Maths as a subject in class XII.

If you had maths in class XII board then only you are eligible for MCA from good MCA colleges. If you want to pursue career in technology then MCA is very good career option. If you are not technically inclined then you may opt for MBA and become a generalist. Currently scope and opportunities for MBAs are better but slowly industry has started paying good salaries to technologist also. At the start of the career, MBA is better paid then MCA but in long run, both careers are equally good and paying because software engineers have opportunities to work on onsite assignments abroad with better financial saving potential.

Hi Arham Khan,
Being a commerce graduate, PGPM from IIM is better than MCA. You should prepare for CAT examination and try to get above 95 percentile.
All the best.

Hi,
It's unfair to distinguish which area is better, but if you have an inclination towards IT, then there are huge scope as well.

There are many opportunities after completing MCA. After completing BCA, there are many job opportunities but if you do not pursue MCA, then you salary would be low.
