Hi,
Please let me know whether you like to pursue MCA through distance mode or regular? Since, distance learning universities/ institutes offer MCA without any entrance exam, you can take admission in any college/ university for the same.

Both MCA & MBA are excellent career options. If you want to pursue career in technology then MCA is very good career option. MBA will prepare you for multiple management functions in multiple sectors & industries. At the start of career MBA graduates are better paid then MCA but in long run both careers are equally good and paying. You can chose any career option based on your interests to excel in career. I have only one advice that you must chose your PG institute with proper diligence because it will drive your career direction and growth.

MCA is a job oriented professional PG degree. You can start your IT career immediately after MCA. If you plan to study further you can do M.Tech if you are technically oriented or MBA if you have management orientation.

Generally, there are no specialisations in MCA in the majority of Indian universities. Some universities provide options to selected electives from the basket of different specialisations. You may opt for software engineering electives such as software engineering, project management and software quality management, artificial intelligence and machine learning, IT security and data analysis.
