Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences admission to MDS is based on NEET MDS score. NEET-qualified candidates must participate in the NEET MDS counselling for seat allocation. 50% of the seats are offered under Delhi State Quota. Remaining 50% of the seats are filled under All India Quota through AIQ counselling. The counselling bodies release merit lists based on the NEET MDS ranks secured by the aspirants. Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences accept NEET MDS for admission. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery or NEET MDS is an entrance exam conducted by NBE for providing admissions to all the postgraduate dental courses offered by the institutions in India. NEET MDS exam is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination conducted annually in online mode. The NEET MDS score will be accepted for 50% seats of DU and 50% under All India Quota.

The total tuition fee for Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences MDS course is INR 46,800. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The fee is less in comparison to other top dental colleges offering MDS programme. Candidates are required to pay the programme fee to confirm their seat in the institute. Sharda University admissions to MD/ MS and MDS courses is based on UP NEET PG scores followed by the State Counselling, which is generally conducted round-wise. Sharda University cutoff 2022 was released up to Round 3 of Seat Allotment. The last round closing ranks for top MDS courses are as follows
- 549 for MDS in Prosthodontics Including Crown and Bridge
- 298 for MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
- 438 for MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

There is no concession in NEET MDS application fee for OBC students. They have to pay INR 3,500 as an application fee. NBE had reduced the NEET MDS 2024 application fee from last year, which was INR 4,250. The exam fee for the Reserved category candidates is INR 2,500. The application fee of NEET MDS has to be paid in an online mode through Credit/Debit Card and Net Banking.

To be eligible for MDS at Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences, a candidate must have completed BDS awarded by a University or Institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and must have qualified NEET MDS. The MDS course is of three years duration and students are required to qualify the final MDS examination within 5 years. The institute offers MDS in nine dental specialties in full-time mode.
