Hii, Not even in Karnataka, you can freely do computer Science engineering after completing Diploma from Mechanical Engineering, everywhere in India.

The authority will publish VITEEE 2022 cutoff separately for each engineering stream, with higher and lower cutoffs based on candidate preferences. Candidates who will score 118 or higher would most likely be in the range of 1-250. Candidates with marks of less than 31 will be put into 20,000 or lower rank.
Candidates in the merit list will be called to participate in VITEEE Counselling. The counselling will be conducted on the basis of Rank Lists prepared as per the candidates percentile score in the examination. VIT Amaravati and Bhopal campuses are relatively new, so the cutoff of these institutes is not available currently.
