Yes, there are more than 90 colleges in India that offer admission to the BTech Mechanical Engg. course via the CUET exam scores, including LPU, GGSIPU, Galgotias University, and Shoolini University. While not many students are aware, CUET can actually turn out to be an excellent alternative to JEE Main for admission to engineering courses like BTech Mechanical Engineering, where the exam syllabus includes the questions from the Class 12 syllabus only, as opposed to JEE Main, which covers both Class 11 and 12. CUET scores are also more likely to be accepted across various colleges than JEE Main.

Yes, you can get admission to B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at AMU through the self-finance category. You'll need to appear for the AMUEEE entrance exam and go through the counselling process. Self-finance seats are limited and come with a higher fee, usually around ?2.5 to ?2.7 Lacs per year.

Yes, you can do M.Tech in Structural Design after B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. Many universities allow this switch since both fields have overlapping subjects like mechanics and material science. You might need to qualify through GATE in Civil Engineering, as some institutes prefer that for Structural Design.

You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.
