Yes, it's a good option to take mechanical engineering at PES University. Infrastructure and placement is okay. Teaching is good. Labs are well-equipped.

Hello friend, I would prefer you DY Patil. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering is the best engineering college. The campus has well ventilated, spacious classrooms, seminar rooms, laboratories, library, administrative block and conference hall. The campus provides the in-house xeroxing facility, bank, student's consumer Co-operative Society, cafeteria, etc. The central computer centre has structured networking and server with an adequate number of terminals. Personally, I think that you shouldn't join this college, college is too bad.
The management here is extremely worst. They are not at all helpful in any way. More importantly, the faculty doesn't know proper English and doesn't have proper knowledge of the subject they teach. They will just come with a notebook and copy that on the board as it is. They won't be able to clarify any doubts if you have any. Very few of the faculty members are experienced and excellent in teaching.
So, just don't join this college for any branch.
