Hi,
Mechanical Engineering is very different from SAP. So, think before you proceed. As a mechanical engineer, the logical options among SAP applications would be:
1. SAP PP (Production Planning)
2. SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)
3. SAP MM (Materials Management)
As a fresher, you will have lesser options in employment in manufacturing companies as compared to IT, because the manufacturing companies tend to hire people with experience. As you grow in your career as a SAP consultant and gain experience you will have better opportunities to join the core sector.

The requirements for admission is 45% in 10+2 with physics and maths as compulsory subject. For admission process class 12th marks are of more importance.
