Hello Chittibabu,
Of course yes. With such good marks in Diploma, even though it is in mechanical engineering, you can definitely apply for graduation in Aeronautical Engineering. However I will like to advise you that as per my opinion mechanical engineering will be better for you than aeronautical engineering because the jobs in Aeronautical are much less as compared with mechanical engineering and you would be better of doing graduation in this. However, the final choice remains yours. Best wishes to you.

ECE is a better option as per me, you can generally observe too many people are doing this as then, obviously, it has a good scope.

Can you specify which institute exactly you are talking about, and also your rank and category because these things matter.

FMS Delhi encourages gender diversity and gives special weightage to genders. For Male, with above back ground details candidate needs to score around 92 percentile to get an interview call and for females, candidate needs score around 90 percentile to get an interview call.

Hello Salman Nooji,
It's indeed great to hear from you that you are interested in doing diploma in this institute. However when I checked, I could not find any diploma that it is offering. I am attaching a link that will give you list of different courses that this institution is offering. They have also a form that I feel you should fill up to get in touch with them.

Yes, you can. There should not be any problem. In case your study mode has been via distance education and then you have job experience there won't be any problem.

Mechanical engineering is a core branch so it's a bit difficult for you to get any seat in any NITs. Ninty percentile is not enough. Good luck.

Hello Edwin, It's indeed great to hear from you that you are interested in doing mechanical engineering. These days except in Tamil Nadu, a student has to appear for multiple entrance exams to qualify for different sets of colleges. Each state conduct it's own entrance exam for colleges within the state. Then NTA conducts JEE Mains and JEE Advanced for admission into NIT & IIT. In addition almost all deemed universities conduct their own entrance exams. Hence you need to decide where you want to go and then start preparing for respective entrance exams. Best wishes to you.

Hello Sourav, Oh! You are asking a very critical and interesting query. Firstly there is no embargo on doing this. Of course you will have to give an undertaking that this will not hamper your work. In addition the timings of both should not clash. Obviously you can be available only at place at any given point in time. Right? Within these limitations government departments usually allow employees to pursue their quest for knowledge. Best wishes to you.
