Yes, you are eligible to pursue MDes in Film and Video Design after completing BTech in Mechanical Engineering. You can pursue the course after completing any undergraduate degree such BA, BSc, BTech/ BE etc.
Since MDes is an advanced course, you are expected to have basic Design aptitude.

Mechanical Engineering is a course which trains candidates on how to use tools and heavy machinery. It introduces learners to the designing and manufacturing of heavy machinery and other appliances such as vehicles, motors, aircrafts etc.
