It is not easy to get into GITAM as the institute is one of the top institutes in Haryana. The institute provides all the facilities and courses, within the affordable range. This increases the competition.
However, the ease of admission depends upon the number of seats available in college and the number of applicants, which changes every year. Generally, cut-offs are high in GITAM.
So, to get into college you need to score higher.

Since the college is affiliated to Anna University and the college is government managed therefore the college is very affordable and pocket friendly. For a student to complete the course of 4 years, the approximate budget should be around INR 1 lakh since the fees vary from INR 20,000 to 22,000. For mess, it takes around INR 2 to 3 thousand per month. The hostel fee is around INR 6,000 per year. With 4years hostel, one can complete their education in less than INR 2 lakh. Scholarships and Loans are also provided for the students who are unable to afford the fees hence it becomes easier for the students to pursue the course.

Government Engineering College, Godhra GUJCET Cutoff has been released for Round 1. The Cutoff was released as Opening and Closing for different specialisations, across different categories. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff for BE in Mechanical Engineering closed at 930950. It is unlikely that you can get admission to the mechanical engineering branch with 58.15% marks in Class 12 Science. The eligibility criteria for admission to most engineering colleges, including government-run NITs and IIITs, is a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12 Science. So 58.15% would meet the basic eligibility.
However, many top engineering colleges have higher cut-offs, often around 85% or more, for admission to mechanical engineering and other popular branches. For example, Bethany ISC has an 85% cut-off for Commerce and 90% for Science and Humanities.
