The admission process to this course in Dream Institute of Technology is quite simple and easy to follow. Students have to take an entrance test and their class 12th board exams are also considered while admitting students. A choice between IGDTUW for CSE and IIT Mandi for Mechanical would involve your priority lists: whether it is the reputation/ranking that you are after or not. Generally speaking, IIT Mandi enjoys a higher ranking and reputation nation-wide than does IGDTUW. IITs enjoy a good reputation throughout the country when it comes to the quality of education and research.
2. Department Strength: The CSE department of IGDTUW is good concerning faculties, and the industry linkages are also good. IIT Mandi has a great Mechanical Engineering branch with excellent research facilities.

Application fee: For the B.Tech programme in Mechanical Engineering, RGUKT - IIIT Basara, the application fee is Rs. 500/- in case of candidates belonging to OC/BC category of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States and Rs. 450/- in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. Yes, why not! You can do a M.Tech in any relevant specialization of your choice after doing BTech in Mechanical, provided you appear for GATE exam and score well in the same. Almost all of the reputed Indian engineering colleges and universities provide admission to MTech courses on the basis of GATE score or conduct their own specific entrance tests to assess the capability of the aspirant. You must prepare well for the exam to get good marks and a decent rank to get admission to a top engineering institute.

The application fee for the B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering programme at Providence College of Engineering is Rs 700 for General / SEBC (Rs 400 for SC/ ST) candidates .
